Privacy Policy
Clear information about personal data starts with confirmed practices. This draft sets out the information Cedarbase needs to provide in its final privacy policy.
Waitlist registration and use of your details
When you join the waitlist, we store your name, company name and email address to contact you about the restaurant platform. Signing up does not create an account.
Who is responsible
This draft concerns the Cedarbase marketing website. The responsible legal entity, business address and privacy contact email must be confirmed before publication of the final policy. Products operated for clients may require separate privacy information.
Information and purposes
The final policy must identify the personal information actually processed, the purposes and legal basis for each activity. This includes any business enquiries, waitlist registrations and technical hosting logs. Mentioning an activity here does not mean that a registration or tracking feature is currently enabled.
Cookies and analytics
The final policy must reflect the cookies, analytics and other tracking technologies actually used on the deployed website, together with the available consent and preference controls. The collection of guest behavior data in a future product must be described separately when that product is introduced.
Providers, transfers and retention
Hosting providers and any other recipients, international transfers, applicable safeguards and retention periods remain to be confirmed. These details must match the production setup rather than assumptions about how a website normally operates.
Your privacy rights
Depending on the circumstances, data protection rights include access, correction, erasure, restriction, portability and objection. Consent may be withdrawn where processing relies on it. You can also lodge a complaint with a data protection authority, including the Dutch Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
Contact and updates
A direct privacy contact email and a confirmed review date will be added before the final policy is published. This page is a draft and does not yet provide a complete account of Cedarbase’s data-processing practices.
